Adrian Chan

Hill Thalis - Sydney Architecture - Team - Adrian Chan

Adrian joined Hill Thalis in 2010 after his major studio with Philip Thalis. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies in 2008 and a Masters of Architecture in 2010. His final studio project was nominated for the RAIA Design Medal for UNSW. Prior to joining Hill Thalis, Adrian had experience at Marchese + Partners, Sydney (2007-2008) and Ronald Lu & Partners, Hong Kong (2007).

In 2008, Adrian completed an exchange program at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) in Zurich and had the opportunity to participate in a workshop on the site of the Lagoon of Santa Gilla at the University of Cagliari, Sardinia. Adrian travelled extensively through Europe during his time at ETH. He also stayed in Beijing for two months in 2009 and had travelled around Asia.

Current projects with Hill Thalis include:

  • Concept design; Kingston Foreshore Cultural Precint and Causeway development, Canberra
  • Concept design; Ermington Hub Site
  • Concept; University of Sydney Rowing Club Boathouse

Adrian is also assisting with the concept design for Fitzroy Gardens and Lawrence Hargrave Reserve Carpark.
