This apartment appeared in Sydney Morning Herald’s “Domain” supplement and featured in an Australian Architecture Association Residential Tour in June 2005.
This project involves the amalgamation of two existing studio apartments into a spectacular three storey roof top apartment in the Sydney CBD.
A double storey glazed courtyard is inserted into the centre of the plan, maximising light and ventilation and dramatising the relationship of the rooms within to the city beyond.
A roof-top terrace enjoys a unique urban panorama of the surrounding city towers and the dome of the adjacent Queen Victoria Building.
The internal layout allows for flexible home/work configurations in a unique city environment that retains the character of the original warehouse spaces.
